Styling Notes:
In collaboration with the Eperara Siapidara indigenous community, we worked with women who were victims of internal displacement caused by ongoing violence. Through a conscious effort of respect and appreciation for their basketry traditions, we developed a unique bag. Using their traditional “paja tetera,” a native palm fiber, and their ancestral weaving techniques, we mixed with leather strings and created a one-of-a-kind bag.
